Our mission in education
With the pride of being the first state university founded in our country, bearing the name of İzzet Baysal and supported by the Foundation; Raising good physicians equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the age and who can look at life and people holistically; raising scientists who conduct scientific research by contributing to the needs of society and universal knowledge; To be a Faculty of Medicine that provides quality health care.

Our mission in research
It is to carry out production-oriented and value-added researches that reveal the health problems in our country, primarily in our region, on a scientific basis, and mediate to increase the quality of the health level.

Our mission in service
To give the highest value to human life and health, to share responsibility by keeping patient and employee satisfaction high, to ensure that the patient receives the highest quality service, to provide health services to foreign patients due to the tourism feature of our region, together with the people of our region and our country.

Vision

In the next five years; Being accredited by the National Medical Education Accreditation Board (UTEAK) in terms of pre-graduate medical education (VETE), at least seven of the Departments providing Medical Specialization Education (TUE) have received TUKMOS Stage 3 accreditation, and a simulation center for medical education that can serve the entire Western Black Sea region. Establishment is our vision.
